Growing Perfection
"Obsession
with perfection" is a recurring theme at The Plantation. And
owner Bob Frye is the first to admit ithis geraniums are his
life. Every year, from January through June, he tends his crop from
3 a.m. until 8 or 9 at night. He endures continual blisters, shin
splints, and a stiff neck and back. Each crop is an important event
in his life.
But he feels
his focus and relentless discipline are worth it.
And so do his
customers. Just ask themthey'll tell you Plantation Geraniums have
the largest blooms, the most vivid colors, the nicest, cleanest
foliage, the densest plant structures, the healthiest root systems,
and the most profuse branchingall providing the most incredible
"flower power" you'll ever find in geraniums.
Not to mention
the vast selection, including 22 varieties
of pure genetic potential. (Just one of The Plantation's standard-sized
geraniums will fill an entire 14-inch planter and will produce up
to 250 blooms per season!)
Bob's geraniums
continually define perfection for the industry, and he redefines
his own standard of quality with each new crop. Year after year,
his obsession with growing perfection ensures the consistent quality
his customers have come to expect. And though he often says his
customers are his best salespeople, when you take one look at his
geraniums you'll agreehis plants literally sell themselves.
